Breath Deeply...

{photo used with permission www.provencebeyond.com}

Can you imagine the incredible aroma that wafts through the afternoon air out in the
Provence countryside, where the lavender fields stretch as far as the eye can see?

I can!! Breathing it in, and smelling the sweet softness all through the day!!  What
absolute JOY to one's senses!

On this the Lord's day, I am focusing on the fragrance that flows from my life...
my heart, my lips, my deeds...

And asking that God will purify it all, and cause it to be as glorious in His nostrils,
as the scent of fresh lavender is in mine.

"Search me, O God,
and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties,
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting."

Psalm 139:23-24

May your day of worship and rest be delightful, and filled
with the joy of the Lord!!!

Love ya bunches,

Hey girl!
Loved your comment on Life By George!
That's cute about the names. I'll have to tell Bro. Allen that there's another George Allen. He is so sweet. He's an only child, like me...He takes care of his mother, who is in her 90's.

I love the field of lavender. I plan to try growing some lavender....

Would you please pray for my parents? Nothing is major wrong...just dealing with getting older...changes, etc. They are the grandest people ever. They've always been soooo good to me. Their names are James and Elwanda. Thanks so much.

I pray you have a very blessed Lord's Day. I look forward to our services at church, and of course, my Sunday afternoon nap! :)

Take care....and yes, one of these days, that blogger friend that I meet, will be YOU! Makes me happy!

Love,
Liesa

Good morning Becky, I was thinking about you and I opened my computer and there you were. BIG happy smile here.

Your lavender fields look heavenly. Maybe because it is Sunday, our day for our Lord. I love the verse you shared so much.

We have some Florida sunshine this morning and the flowers are beginning to bloom. Life is good.
I will wish your friend well wishes on the opening of her Etsy shop.

Blessings and love, Jeanne

The scent would be amazing. Sometimes we just have to stop and consider these small "treats of nature"... There are a lot of flowers that smell beautiful but sometimes you have to get up close and sometimes the wind does you a big favor and sends it your way.

I appreciate your Sunday message and considering I haven't stopped to say hi for so long - I know it was meant to be read by me. I hope you and your family are well. I still so appreciate your kindness you showed me & Claudie and the tour of your neighborhood and also to arrange such a fantastic experience with the airboat. No small kindness goes unnoticed. I hope someone does something nice for you this week especially.

Love to you.
Julie

You have a beautiful blog. I feel your burden and will join you in prayer for so many hurting people in this world.
I think heaven might smell just like lavender...because I know it is beautiful.
Blessings to you!
