A Patriot and Hero!

I have a dear bloggy friend that I recently had the extreme
pleasure of meeting in person!

Her name is Tami and her blog is A Girl’s Gotta Nest.

We had the best time, just like we have always
been friends!  What a HUGE blessing she is!

Her patriot husband will be deployed soon, to another
country…and this is not his first time.

Please join me in prayer for him and for all of our troops, who are
sacrificing in behalf of their country.

Thank you, E. for your dedication, and commitment to serve
even at a cost to you and yours.  May God protect you, and preserve
you until He brings you back safely to your also very brave,
committed bride!

If you have a young man in your life, I hope you’ll encourage him to make
one of these soldiers his role model, and not some pop or sports star!
We could all learn something from these amazing troops of ours!

Please visit Tami and thank her for her sacrifice, too!

Hi Becky,
Just stopping by to say Hi! I so agree with you, that are kids should have a soldier for a role model rather than a pop star or super cartoon. We have three family members deployed and they are in our prayers everyday. All our service men and woman are in my thoughts and prayers always!
Have a sweet day an big hugs, Elizabeth
I will go over and visit Tami.

One of my dear blog friends, who I will get to meet this summer on my trip to Florida, is an Army mom. Her son, who is the same age as my son, was deployed a few months ago and is now in harm's way. I have nothing but respect for him...and for all our troops, and I pray God's safety and protection for every single one of them.

I am looking forward to actually meeting 3 of my blog friends on my trip to Florida...and to reuniting with 2 dear friends (you and Nellie) that blogging brought back into my life.

Love you,

Hi my sweet Becky!

GREAT post.... What wonderful men and women serve in our military.... and, that includes their spouses. It's so hard on the hero to be away from his/her family, but I think it's almost as hard for the one left behind. God bless them all..... And, a HUGE thank you from the family of Bellamere Cottage who are ALL ever so grateful for the sacrifice.

Big huggies dear girlie....
