White Wednesday~~Be Kind to the Newbie!!

Hi Everyone!

This is my very first time participating in White Wednesday!!

It is graciously hosted by
Kathleen over at Faded Charm

I hope you'll go check out all the other fabulous whites there!!

I have been having a blast with...
of all things...

My regular followers may have seen these already,
but they are so simple to work with, and so
inexpensive, I though I'd share them for WW.

This is a French inspired lavande bouquet!!

I used a 1" foam brush and just brushed on
some white acrylic paint here and there.
You don't want to cover up all the brown.
For this one I used a vintage graphic frame from
the Graphics Fairy {I think}, printed Lavande
on it in a fancy font, glittered it a bit with German
glass glitter and tied the tag on with vintage seam binding.

The inside has moss glued to the bottom; lavender bunched
and glued to it, and then I glued in moss around the lavender.

These are hot sellers in my Etsy shop
and are sooo much fun to create!!

Another little French inspired pot!!

This one features vintage French dictionary pages
rolled up and shredded, another little text
graphic from the Graphics Fairy, embellished with
German glass glitter, a vintage rhinestone button,
silk sari ribbon, and some tulle.

and lastly...a bird nest!!

A view from the top

Burlap, twine,  a vintage inspired enamel number,
and all kinds of nesting goodness!!

Love me some bird nests,
don't you!

Look at your stash and see what you can come up with!
You'll have a blast!

Use your imagination!  These little pots are so versatile!
They can be used as treat holders at parties, sweet little
gifts, gift card holders, you name it!!

Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday!
Thanks for stopping by!!

Remember someone needs your smile today!

Pretty pretty little peat pots! Cute.

I love these...especially the one with the shells that you have in your store. These would be super as the flower pots holding my dil's cake pops. Hmmmmmm....maybe with a flamingo tag attached?

I didn't get your painting mailed as planned today. The heavier paint seemed a bit tacky with the dampness of the day. It's fine tonight, so I'll get it out tomorrow.

Hi Becky, I do love your pots! You are so sweet!! I'm glad you are enjoying peonies as your desktop background :). What a way to start the morning, sending a bouquet of peonies to a friend, and they don't need water and won't wilt away.
Have a wonderful day, friend!

p.s. I meant to tell you on your other post, we went to the Billy Joel concert in the 70's. It was fabulous :).

Your work is just awesome My SWEET Becky... LOVE these. I just bought some of these little peat pots to do something with. So inexpensive... thought it would be a fun project for my boy.

WOOO HOOO! Garage is finished. Well, until we do a RE-DO. It's on the agenda. I want to move everything off of the narrow shelves and build some nice, deep ones. I have bins and bins and bins and bins (well, you know how this story goes) of fabric, so big shelves will really help. It would have helped if I had bought all of my bins at the same time, but I've collected them over time so they're all different, which means they don't stack too well. How much fabric can one chickie use??

Big hugs to you dear one....and Happy Fourth of July too.

Becky, I love these! I am going to try some in my booth. I am thrilled that you tried the clay tags and plaster roses. I can't wait to see your first batch ready to go to your shop. I was thinking we have to think of a way to make peat pots for the holidays to sell....Oh, maybe with bottle brush trees?
