Magical Blooms

I adore flowers...
but I especially adore two...

HYDRANGEAS AND PEONIES!

with roses coming in a close third.

They have an affect on me that I can't quite
put into words.  They actually have the ability,
by merely looking at them, to alter my mood,
make me smile, and sooth my soul.

Do they do that to you, too?

Here are some gorgeous photos of these magnificent
blooms...all from pinterest.com

Enjoy!

Such great photo styling!

Stunning!

WOW!  LOVE this!

So creative!!

I think God made flowers just for us girls!!
How cool is that?

Hope your week is delightful!
Hugs n joy!!

Oh Becky I just couldn't agree more. How I love flowers...all kinds really! Such a lovely touch from Him all around us. I love the bridal bouquet you show here, though all of them are just gorgeous! Have a wonderful week my friend! HUGS

I have to agree with you Becky. Hydrangeas and peonies are awesome. But I have a hard time picking a favorite flower. They are all so pretty! Love the ones cascading off of the table! How gorgeous is that! Hope you are doing well dear.

Lots of hugs to you!

I love all three flowers myself, Becky. I get plenty of hydrangeas from several bushes we have. I leave my roses on the bush; the peonies, too. The only thing I hated about the peonies was the little ants that would crawl on them. Many years ago, hubby wouldn't let me bring the flowers in the house because of that, so I just leave them to grow where they've bloomed.

Me too! Only I have to add lilacs to that list, maybe lilacs, peonies, hydrangeas and then roses? Or maybe lilacs, roses, peonies, hydrangeas....maybe all equally! Old fashioned hollyhocks have to rank up there too! Pansies too.....guess I love them all!

I love flowers. Sunflowers, peonies, gerbera daisies, hibiscus, azaleas are definitely some of the flowers that bring a smile to my face and lift my mood. Magnolias, oh how I love magnolias. I told someone the other day that if I had a large property with a long drive leading up to the house, I would line it with magnolia trees.

Beautiful images! My favourites as well...my daughter was lucky enough to be married in
November when peonies are in bloom here. Her bouquet was white & cream with the loveliest peonies & old roses, divine! The flowergirls & maid-of-honour had soft pink peonies equally beautiful!

Peonies are one of my favorites. I didn't realize how sweet they smelled until my mother-in-law gave me a bouquet of them and I could smell them in my kitchen as they sat on my table. So wonderful!

Hi Sweetie!!
Peonies are my favorite!! In fact we moved to this farm because there were 35 peonies plants that the old owner had planted years ago!LOL
Hydrangeas come in 2nd for me as well. None were here, so I've planted 4 plants since we moved here... hopefully SOME day soon I'll have those beautiful blooms that I love. AND I totally agree with you...flowers have the ability to calm you down and make you feel good. I always keep fresh flowers in the house cuz it works on hubby too....:)

Take care my friend...hope your doing well!!!
Many hugs and tons of love!!
