Tiny White Cottages~~White Wednesday!!

Hi Friends!!

And Happy White Wednesday!

I hope you will go visit the lovely
Kathleen at Faded Charm
and all of the other participants!
You'll be so glad you did!!

I came across some sweet tiny wooden houses,
and thought it would be so much fun to
make a little shabby, vintage inspired village!
And it was!
You should give this a go...there are no rules and
it is really sooo easy!!

I don't have photos of the process, but it
was so simple.  I sanded them smooth,
applied two coats of my go-to white acrylic paint,
sanded the edges, and pulled a little of this and that
out of my stash to embellish them with. Most of it
is vintage, and that just makes it a little more yummy!

I used both spray adhesive and hot glue to apply the goodies!!

So, what do you think?

I want to make some that
are more tattered and distressed, and some
for the holidays.  You should too!  It's kind of addictive!
And these will make delightful, one of a kind gifts, too!

I had hoped to get some shots of them in a couple
of different vignettes for you, but didn't get to it
before I had to ship them out!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a delightful day!

What an adorable little village! Sounds like a great project to use up little bits of this and that! And a Christmas village would be wonderful!

Love 'em, Becky! Great project for using up some scraps, too, since they are not too big. Love the buttons and the fleur embellishment!

Sweet! I love your idea of making the Christmas cottages. Imagine....someone thinking of that in July, when there's time to actually get projects done! (I usually wait until the end of November, then scramble to do everything. Oh why can I not be organized like Becky?!!!) :-)

Love and Smiles -- that's how I feel about your sweet white village. I'm getting those pesky "I've-got-to-make-thats."
