There are so many ways to
decorate for the holidays that don't
cost a lot of money!
As soon as I saw these adorable little silver
pinecones in the $1 section at Michael's
I knew I could do something pretty
and fun with them!
They make lovely little inspiration
or place card holders!
I found a font I liked in Microsoft
Word, and printed some words in
a sized 26 bold Shelley font.
I double, double spaced them
so I had room to cut the little
banners out.
I free hand cut the banners,
and then ran a thin line of Elmer's
glue around the whole edge,
and sprinkled it with fine silver glitter.
I am going to dot these around
our Christmas dinner tablescape!
They're great for tucking in vignettes, too!
They're great for tucking in vignettes, too!
Michael's has the pinecones in silver,
red, gold, and green. They already have
glittered edges and come 4 to a pack.
I just finished this little stocking
ornament this morning!
I love how it turned out!
I will be adding these to the shop later.
Off to get some orders out!
Have a fabulous week,
and remember to flash that
beautiful smile of yours to
everyone you see!!
Blissful Whites Wednesday
linky will be up tomorrow night!!
Hugs,
Becky

Love your idea for using those pinecones, Becky! That will look really pretty on a table. Your stocking is so cute! I wanted to make some ornaments for myself this year, but time just got away from me. I'm hoping to do some throughout the year next year so I'll be ready come Christmas {2013!}.
