Need A Beach Day??

My man took me to the coast
last night for a dinner date.  How sublime.

Though we didn't dine at the water's edge,
it was still a wonderful escape.

I can't begin to explain or even
understand myself, why the coastline
thrills my soul...

a mere glimpse of the
sunlight dancing on the water,
and my heart is all of a sudden at rest.

I just finished a delightful virtual
trip to the beach...that is, to the beaches
around the world, via my By The Sea, By The
Deep Blue Sea Pinterest board.

If you need a little escape today,
turn on some soothing music and
just click...
it's just a click away...
at By The Sea.

P.S.  {you might want to slip out of
your shoes, so you can feel the sand
between your toes!}

I just took my youngest son on a 10 day road trip down the California coast, driving along Hwy 1 was like reliving my childhood. I too, do not know what it is, but being near the ocean is one of the most peaceful places on earth! Hope you enjoyed your dinner! Blessings, Cindy

Oh how I love the sea! While the Oregon coast is more gray and not as warm as you coast, it's still lovely and we're heading there for a little vacation next week. Can't wait!

Oh, how I miss the coast! Lake Michigan is big...but it isn't THE coast. Thanks for sharing. So glad you had a great time. ; )

Oh I love the beaches also anywhere.
I have often wondered why humans are so drawn to the water ?
I know it our life line to survive however to live by the water be it a lake or ocean we want to be there as close as we can

Hope you had a lovely time.
I find the ocean/beach to be soothing and comforting. I don't get there often enough.
