The Best Beauty Secret

Today, I have the pleasure of sharing something with you that I put together for the blog hop with the new Stampington Magazine, Bella Grace.

It is so gorgeous and inspiring...and I have one to give away!
YAY!!
More on that in a bit.

I have met some women during my life,
that as soon as they step into your presence,
they make you feel better.

They are beautiful, draw you in, and seem to just beam with joy!

Their words are always seasoned with love and grace and they make you want what they have!

They often leave others wondering how they can possibly be so happy all the time, and
if they are simply faking it.

I. love. that.
And I aspire to be one of them.
{still have a long way to go!!}

And I know their beauty secret!

Before they even get out of bed
in the morning...

their hearts swell with thanks for
the new day, and all that will fill it!

That's it.
That's why they are soooo lovely,
and soooo happy!

The heartbeat of their life is thanks. gratitude. gratefulness.

It spills over into all they do!

I have found that as I thank God thank for every little thing, my creativity just
flows seamlessly.  When I get out of focus,
and into the grumpy, even ungrateful zone, it is almost always stifled.  So simple, isn't it?

A grateful heart is not only the secret
to captivating beauty, it creates a deep sense of joy, and unlocks and releases our creativity!!

You will absolutely love Bella Grace!

It is full of beauty and inspiring
short stories.  You will want to curl
up with it, a comfy blanket,
a nice hot cup of wonderfulness, and take
it all in!

One lucky blogger will win a copy!

*****To have your name put in the hat,
simply leave a comment telling me
what you are grateful for today!

I am so very grateful for my mom and thankful that God blessed me with her. I became a grandmother this year to a beautiful and healthy girl. I don't think I really (really) appreciated my mom until This new chapter of my life unfolded. I miss our laughs and our tears and know she is with me when I'm rocking and humming :) just as she did my baby girl...

What a very uplifting post, perfect start to the week. I adore the tag, btw, I'd love to have that displayed on my shelf.
I have so much to be grateful for, how can I single out one thing? Amongst other things, I am so grateful that my three sons all grew up to be wonderful men, loving, kind and successful in their chosen careers.

What a wonderful post ~ so often we take life for granted and forget Who blesses us every single day. I'm thankful for my husband who was almost taken from me 2 years ago in a motorcycle accident. It's amazing how 2 seconds can change your life forever, but so very thankful that we have gotten through many struggles and still have each other. Many blessings to you!

Thank you so much for the inspiration. I so understand what you are saying about gratitude, I am 60 and a few years ago I found myself single after 35 years with an empty nest (I was in a very abusive situation and it was time to get out). I floundered for a couple of years until one day as I was saying my daily thank you pray the Spirit said to me "Follow your Heart" ever so softly. Next to God and my family I love Interior Design. finished my Interior Design degree, and I started reading Interior Design blogs for about a year. I said to myself I can do that, I can make and sale beautiful craft projects, and help design homes. Only through prayer I can receive results. In my last post I shared my secret to the hunt process for choice vintage and antique finds. That is, I pray and ask direction for the finds that need to come into my life whether for others or for my home. It works every time. The Lords hand is in all I do, when I ask for his help. He is my regular.
I am never alone.
I so love your blog thanx for sharing your thankful testimony.

Right now...at this very minute...I am finding it difficult to be grateful. For anything. But, once I read your entry, I decided to dig a little. I decided I am thanking for my cat whose raspy tongue is licking her toy cat tail (It must be tasty, or something!?! It does have cat nip in it.). Any way, that was the plug that I pulled out. After that, a few more things pushed forward. My girlfriend, who isn't * probably* angry with me any more. The ground beef that spoiled, because I just didn't feel like cooking. For more days than I can remember. (Refer to said girlfriend.). For the buns I won't be using right now that I had to put in the fridge so they won't spoil, too. For the art supplies that surround me that I haven't used in over a year that will be ready for when I put forth the effort to create something. For the friend whose letter i received several months ago and STILL haven't answered. There's more...

When I was in college, many years ago, we sang a prayer each night before dinner at my sorority house.
"For food, for raiment, for love, for opportunity, for friendship and fellowship we thank thee o Lord."
None of us knew what raiment was so we always joked, "who's Raymond?"
I am still thankful for all these things.

Hi Becky,

I agree that remembering to have a grateful heart is a great way to keep us grounded in life.

I'm grateful to have a deep connection with my husband after 34 years of marriage. We have been through many things and with God's grace, our love grows deeper each and every day. I'm proud of what we have together as we have always given each other space to grow in our own interests as well as being on each others team with everyday life. Household chores have always been a shared job and now that we are empty nesters, we truly enjoy our time even if it's trying a new recipe and cooking together in the kitchen. I still think it's sexy when he plays chef..... Can't complain about that, right?

I like your blog and look forward to returning again soon.

Good day to you,
Karla

I found your blog today via an email from Stampington! Finding just one thing to relate my gratefulness for is almost impossible!

It goes without saying that I am thankful for my faith...in God, my family and friends. But today I have been blessed with the fact that my home apparently is smack in the middle of the seasonal hummingbird migration. I have more than I can count visiting the feeders I have out! Their beauty and antics have been a sweet blessing to witness this beautiful day!!

Blessing to you dear. xoxo

You are so gracious to offer us a chance to win an inspiring book! Today I am thankful for technology that brings me opportunities to connect with wisdom, without even personally knowing the teacher. I was reminded in a very powerful way that I can take back my power, learn and grow and still change to become what I am created to become. I am so THANKFUL for those speakers sharing their wisdom and faith in the Lord. I am thankful for an increasing faith in myself and the possibility of learning to love myself even in all my "chaos".
Thank you!

What a beautiful post, Becky!!! (both for the words and the pics...) You are absolutely right, Gratitude is the main fuel to our spirit, I discovered it many years ago when reading Sarah Ban Breathnach´s "Simple Abundance", from whom I learned to have a Gratitude Journal to say thanks for my everyday little blessings... so right now I´m grateful for having come to visit you after a while and finding such a lovely reminder for the joy of my Soul! Thanks for sharing, send you warmest hugs and blessings from Uruguay.
