Fast Times

Can you believe that today is the last day of
January?  Whew!  We are living in some seriously fast times,
aren't we?

So, as time flows quickly by like rushing rivers after days of rain, how
are we to respond?

For me, I am constantly asking God to keep me focused on the main things.  In my life, the main things are Him, family,
friends, and people in general.

We all know that the saying is true.
All we have is

I believe wholeheartedly that God's greatest desire for us in this life is to

He wanted us to do this so much that Jesus gave a new commandment...

A new commandment I give to you, that you love
one another; as I have loved you, that you also
love one another.

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have
love for one another.
John 13:34-35

Some are harder to love than others,
but we still need to love them.

I mean are WE all that easy to love?
{I know I can be a real challenge at times!}

Some of you have had people do terrible things to you; things that may have changed your life forever.  Please know that what I am saying is for life in general.  I do not want to minimize your pain and suffering, and God certainly doesn't either.  He knows all about it. He wants to give your heart peace, and help you through each day. ♥

As Valentine's day approaches,
I hope you will feel challenged to show love to someone who isn't expecting it from you...
Someone that maybe doesn't even deserve it.
God will smile when you do!

{Yeah, the One that created the heavens and earth, He will smile when you show love!!}
AMAZING, huh??!!}

Have a wonderful week, my friends,
and share your sparkle and smile
with everyone you meet!

Becky Dear this post really touches my heart. I do random acts of kindness each and every day and it is my way of trying to love others. I am always amazed at how many people just do not "get it". They look at me as if I have some sort of agenda other than being nice. Sad that people are always in such a rush. 2016 will be an amazing year. Blessings to You...

I'm so glad I stopped by! A sweet reminder. I'm a nurse for a family physician in a busy clinic so that is my prayer each and every day. I get lots of comments. To God be the glory! Have a wonderful week as well. I love the sweet pillow you made. That is something I want to get back to this year...have a needle and thread in my hands. Blessings to you! Diane

Becky, are you over 40? That seems to be when time starts going faster than a ceiling fan! When I was quite young I had a friend of my folks tell me it went faster as we got older, and by golly she sure wasn't lying! It's not like that when you're young. Like the lady above at Createology, I do what I can where I can. When I go to help an elderly person with a cane at the post office carry in the packages I get the impression they think I'll take them and run off. Although I find it hard thinking about loving someone who has been cruel to me, the rest of my life I try to practice WWJD because I know that He is the one watching. But it makes my heart lighter when I can do something nice for someone not expecting it.

HI dear, it's a beautiful reminding message here to be on our best behavior with considering kindness to others, even when ones are not so kind my daughter and I daily find a way to give some love... A genuine smile and helping hand, donating a sleeping bag to an elderly homeless man who dearly needed it, hand out a few dollars to the sign holders for help and God bless you's because you never know the I pack you have on that person at that very moment
We often will send pizza dinners over to ones we know are having a hard time.
Grace upon grace.
